Launch of the MEASURE survey on life cycle tools and methods applied in the European process industries

< Back

The MEASURE project (link to further info https://spire2030.eu/measure) focuses on in-depth life cycle based evaluation approaches. The MEASURE team will address open issues in cross-sectorial sustainability assessment, e.g., in case of cooperation between manufacturers and cross-sectorial co-product, recycling and reuse options, supporting a sustainable supply chain management. Another important topic will be best-suited evaluation tools to guide the evolution of emerging technologies from research and development towards energy and resource efficient full-scale production.

In this context, the MEASURE team launched an open survey which aims at identifying the current state of sustainability assessment tools, techniques and approaches in different sectors of process industries, with the focus on life cycle tools and methods. Stakeholders’ opinion will help to determine the barriers and holdbacks in terms of e.g. data availability, methodological gaps or regulations in undertaking accurate sustainability assessment.

If you are willing to give your input on these topics, please take time to fill the online survey: http://cambridge.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_87CFYnOUncMFKYt
